Nicholas Bowers

Nicholas Bowers is the founder of The Law Office of Nicholas Bowers, PLLC,  a full service, real estate law firm representing individuals and corporate entities in all aspects of real estate law.   On the transactional side, Nicholas represents purchasers and sellers of coops, condos and houses from the pre-contract due diligence through closing. He also represents landlords and tenants in the review, drafting and negotiation residential and commercial leases.  On the litigational side, Nicholas represents individuals and corporations in the Civil Court, Housing Court, Supreme Court, and Appellate term and Appellate division of the State of New York. These matters include items related to landlord and tenant disputes, breach of contract, disputes related to contract deposits, coop corporation and condo association disputes, fraud claims, and boundary disputes and easements.

Prior to opening his own firm, Nick worked as an associate at a general practice firm. Before that, he was a law clerk and paralegal for many years working for a variety of firms with different practice areas including: litigation, general business law, real estate litigation law, insurance defense, family law, class action mass tort law, and personal injury.

Nicholas’ prior experience at a wide array of law firms with varying practice areas gives Nicholas the ability to bring a broad base of experience to each real estate matter he works on.  Whether the matter involves drafting a contract, or commencing a lawsuit, Nicholas Bowers brings his experience and knowledge to provide personalized service at an affordable price to his current clients.

Elizabeth A. Lappin

Elizabeth A. Lappin, Associate

Elizabeth is an associate at The Law Office of Nicholas E. Bowers, PLLC, where she handles a variety of real estate matters including transactional real estate and real estate litigation cases. Elizabeth also has an extensive knowledge of land use and zoning regulations, Elizabeth is active with the NYC Bar Association, where she sits on the Committee on Legal Services for Persons of Moderate Means, and provides pro bono services through the Monday Night Law Clinic.

Liz received her Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Tufts University.

Ilene H. Guralnick

Ilene Guralnick, of Counsel

Ilene focuses on cooperative corporations and condominium law but represents a variety of clients in residential and commercial leasing matters, real estate workouts and other real estate transactions. She received her J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 1977, was admitted to the New York State and Federal Bars in 1978, and to the Supreme Court of the United States in 1994. Ilene is a member of The Association of the Bar of the City of New York - Committee on Cooperatives and Condominiums; the New York State Bar Association- Real Property Sections Committee on Cooperative and Condominiums; the Womens Bar Association; the New York County Lawyers Association, the American Judges Association, and the Brooklyn Bar Association.
